Neighborhood The Holloway Terrace is a solid blue collar neighborhood first established in 1916 and is in the middle of a re-development boom. Mixed in with the original houses are a bunch of new construction homes, re-development started in the early 2000’s and has steadily continued. Depending on which way you are traveling the exit from I-295 is the first once crossing the Delaware Memorial Bridge or the last exit before crossing the bridge. Unfortunately due to the close proximity of I-295 you will drive past several low budget motels when entering the neighborhood (if following GPS). I always recommend that guests use the Route 9 Library & Innovation Center as the GPS address, then use the house address (it is .5 miles away from the Library). The people staying at the low budget hotels never seem to come into the neighborhood, it’s just not pleasant driving past them and can be alarming if you are not expecting it. Transit The house has parking, Uber and Lyft are readily available and it is a .5 mile walk to the closest bus station (New Castle Ave @ Hillview Ave Stop ID: 1776) Notes To ensure a secure and pleasant stay for all our guests, please take note of the following: • Guest Verification: We require a government-issued photo ID and your agreement to our terms and conditions before check-in is finalized. • Security Deposit: Please be aware that a security deposit of $1,500 may be charged at the host’s discretion as part of our standard security procedure. Repairs to the floors are expensive, starting at around $2,500!!! *Maximum of 6 guests allowed in the property at any time *Guests not on the reservation must be cleared in writing via the Airbnb app prior to them entering the property.
